Aqua Park is kept open by the tremendous efforts of some fantastic volunteers.
Typically our volunteers work two sessions per week either from 7.00-10.00am or 10.00-1.00pm or 1.00-4.00pm or 4.00-7.30pm or they work one session per week as well as one weekend per month on a Saturday or Sunday from 9.00-1.00 or 1.00-5.00pm.
The primary duty is to man the Front Desk collecting entry fees or 'clipping' multi-use tickets.
Volunteers also answer queries, sell sundry merchandise and cash-out the daily takings. At the beginning and end of shifts they will open / close the premises as necessary and ensure that everything is in good order.
Many of our volunteers go way above and beyond in performance of these basic duties and help with minor repairs / maintenance / supply shopping and doing whatever is necessary to ensure that Aqua Park stays open and remains the friendly community pool which we all hope to see thrive going forward.
We offer Community Service hours to all NSB High School Students.
